THE GRECO-ROMAN MUSEUM OF ALEXANDRIA
EGYPT, 1994, 35'
  by AGON - Wednesday, 2 November 2011

A tour in the Greco-Roman Museum and in modern Alexandria, during which we relate the destiny of a city, through 22 centuries of history. A city which was once the intellectual center of the ancient world.
A “live” excavation and the discovery of the funerary treasure – a unique collection- before the camera. A door opens on an entirely new field of research of the highest historical significance.
The most representative artifacts, the statuettes, are suprisingly close to our modern conception of art.
