A puppet animation film

The film’s script is based on the demotic song– a variation on the theme of “The Swimmer”.
The myth of the young man who swims in search of the lost ring, has its ancient roots, if we recall the story of Theseus who dived in the sea to find Minos’ ring and thus to prove that he was Aegeas’ son, has since turned up in many lands.
A selection from these myths, as they are presented in Nicolaos Politis’ book “Paraloges”, has been used to create the story of the “Swimmer”.
